Kahawia

Hey everyone! I’m glad that you’re here to follow me on my journey as a writer, poet, and blogger. Many of you may remember when I used to blog at ButtaFlyy.com—way back when. I took a hiatus from blogging because I felt I ran out of things to say; I lost sight of my purpose; and life happened in such a way that I couldn’t keep up. Shit got real!

In search of recreating the mark I want to leave on this world, long after I’m gone—here is Kahawia.com! Kahawia means ‘brown’ in Swahili. As a brown Queen, I am all about the empowerment of brown people who live in righteousness. I am here to discuss our struggles, our triumphs, our bullshit, our hair, our skin, and whatever else I damn well please.

Kahawia.com is ButtaFlyy.com times a thousand! I’ve grown. If you thought I was comfortable in my opinion back then, brace yourself now.

*** That was my disclaimer. ***
